Young gun Matt Jones emerged onto the British dirt jump while still at school, before breaking into the international bike scene in 2013 at the age of 18. He’s focussed, competitive and has built a strong winning mentality from a young age. Jones’s competitive nature has come from growing up riding bikes alongside his twin brother.

Red Bull Joyride continues to be the largest slopestyle mountain-biking competition in the world and the blue-riband event of the sport. The Boneyard, at the base of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, is MTB slopestyle’s spiritual home, and its theatre of dreams offers up a thrilling finale to the 10 days of mountain biking festivities at Crankworx Whistler.
