Pachaug State Forest, Connecticut

Next on the list is Pachaug State Forest in Connecticut. An absolute beauty in the fall, it’s also a great spot for off-roading in the spring and summer. Located in Voluntown, there are 22,000 acres of forest here with over 58 miles of trails. It’s more of a peaceful trail, so it’s great for those excursions with younger children or those who aren’t quite as confident in their off-roading skills.

Rocky Mountain Terrain Park, Maine
