A very large 3.5mm foam padding provides the necessary shock absorption. This 3.5mm foam padding is mainly structured of Polymeric Cellulose. This is a product that has been created from renewable raw materials (mainly wood pulp). The raw materials are fermented to produce lactic acid. This lactic acid is then transformed into polylactic acid (PLA), which can be spun into fibres, filaments, moulded, cast or thermoformed.
The Kappa Evo has a synthetic cover that is so comfortable due to its air channels and integrated padding. The air flow structure of the pad is similar to the shape of an ‘X’, to allow the air to circulate through the saddle and provide your behind with a much more pleasant experience on long journeys. The stretched mesh not only allows for well-defined breathability, but also provides a great feeling of support and comfort along with the multiple points of contact that are formed during the interaction between the pad and your seat bones.

The saddle is practically indestructible and can take a lot of abuse. It is not the lightest saddle on the market but it will be incredibly comfortable and last you many years.

The saddle should be replaced about 3-4 years. This is in relation to the number of hours that
you have used it and the way that
you are sitting on it. A bike saddle is usually not comfortable at first, but after
several hours of usage
the padding breaks in and you are able to ride comfortably on the saddle. You can use
an old pair of bike shorts to see if you have a perfect
position on the saddle and do not sit on it too much. The shape of your buttocks has been modified and it is
harder to change
it back to its original form.
