NS Bikes Surge Evo Frame Review:
Below are a few examples of the high quality and excellent service that we are known for. You’ll see more on our Testimonials page and also in our Facebook Group, where you will see thousands of happy customers who are our best advertising!
“I bought a high end carbon hardtail from a big name brand company, and my friend Martyn bought the same bike from Soulbikes, but we ordered different frames, this one (the Surge Evo) in size M, and mine was the lightweight version (smaller/lighter) in size M. You’ll be pleased to know the Soulbikes frame has slacker angles, slightly longer reach, slacker head angle, higher bottom bracket, has bottle cage bosses on the chainset, standard dropper option, has a front derailleur mount, is wired for standard brakes with 180mm rotors, and has rubber grommets for internal cable routing (a little detail that matters a lot) and has honestly more clearance between the seat tube and the bottom of the front tyre! In terms of weight, I weigh 68kg, so I have probably got more in the Soulbikes frame, but they’re almost identical! So why buy a big name brand frame when you can get one that is better/one to one, and pay half price!!! The frame I have on my bike costs me 2x the amount, yet I don’t have a dropper post, standard brakes, IS mounts, or bottle cage mounts (not that I run a cage, but it would be an option with the Soulbikes frame!!!) Anyway, if you’re unsure whether to buy a Soulbikes frame, I’ve ridden them, they’re good.” – Rhys Fish
“Got the bike this morning and all I can say is WOW!!. Awesome paint job and the welds are insane. Also the final words on the paperwork said great job on the frame, so it looks like Jordan had a hand in making this one, which is a bonus” – Matt H
“Just dropping you a line to thank you both for all your help with the Noz Trail 120. It was one of the best bikes I’ve ridden and not just because of the frame but the build you guys did with the groupset was second to none. The bike has really helped improve my riding, I owe it one! Thanks again I will definitely be coming back to Cycleglass in the future.
P.S. The bike has been well loved for sure and is still going strong!” – James
“hey Soulbikes, just wanted to say thanks for the frame I ordered a Black/grey timber ridge. The frame is awesome! The build quality is outstanding, the welds are stunning and the paint work is so smooth! The bike handles beautifully and climbs like a beast! Many thanks again” – Adam
“Just received the bike. WOW! Much more than I expect […] I set the bike up and made a few rides. The fitting is wonderful, the components are top notch and the frameset… damn. The bike is solid like a rock, stable when descending, the geometry is spot on!
Thanks to Martyn for all the help with the build and picking the best component, thanks to Jordan for the beautifully done frameset and most of all thanks for keeping it so affordable. I am SUPER IMPRESSED!
Rest is history, I am a happy man!” – Henk
“Hi Souls, my name is Antony and I recently purchased an NS Bikes Surge Evo frame and a built it up with mostly Race Face & Hope parts as it would be my main trail bike.
I just wanted to say how happy I am with the way this bike rides. I’ve been a road cyclist fro most of my live and I wanted to try my hand on a mtb said I liked it so much after riding my buddies I decided to get one.
Its such a confidence building bike with great geometry especially when you get out of the saddle and give it some beans. The bike handles like a dream and I love how much control I have on the faster, technical stuff compared to some other 29er trail bikes I have ridden.
Thanks again and I am looking forward to purchasing another frame and build from you guys” – Anthony
“Delighted with the frame I bought, a Surge Evo. Fantastic build quality, the best I’ve seen. Frame is a thing of beauty, and rides like a dream.
The guys here are the nicest, friendliest in the business. So happy to recommend Soulbikes.com for a new bike build. Best wishes, Martyn.” – Mark
