This book is a must have for mountain bike enthusiasts. Detailing the savage physical and emotional challenge of the famous one-day ‘The Monuments’ races, it shines a light on the less than smooth start to these highly regarded races and introduces the brave individuals that took part. A great read for those looking for an informative yet inspiring mountain biking book and it’ll get you back on your bike if it’s gathering dust!

This book is the best book because it includes pictures, maps and distances to all the destinations. This is a truly remarkable exploration of mountain biking opportunities in Arkansas. The author has selected six trails that are great for beginners and advanced riders and that provide plenty of challenge no matter how much experience you have. With beautiful photos that capture the Arkansas landscape at its finest, this is a must-read for anyone who loves mountain biking or appreciates art field guidebooks with stellar photography. It’s also uncommonly accurate: spot-on directions coupled with descriptions of what you can expect at your destination mean more time on your bike and less time spent avoiding endless circles trying to find exactly where you’re headed! No stop sign; go ahead and buy this one.

Mountain biking has been my passion but when I was a newbie this book was the best resource for me to get started and learn the craft. The book covers all the tips and tricks to be a better mountain biker. I specifically enjoyed reading about different techniques which are needed to ride a variety of trails, from basic to advanced. Up-hill and Down-hill riding techniques are also well covered in this book. I am glad that I picked this book early in my mountain biking adventure. I can certainly say that my riding skills have improved after referencing this book. I highly recommend this book for those who are passionate about mountain biking.

One more Horizon is a thrilling book about Scott Zamek who went on a trip around the world on a mountain bike. It was his solo journey that started in Ohio and ended in Hongkong after around 6 million pedal strokes or maybe more. We recommend this book as it tells a wonderful tale of Zamek who pushed aside all the hurdles and fulfilled his lifelong dream with on a mountain bike. He covered 25,000 miles, encountered Bengal tigers, experienced sandstorms, fed on yak and did all that no one can ever imagine. This book is all about endurance, and a roller coaster ride of success and setbacks.
