Have you ever wondered how you’d react if you were approached by this massive predator? Matt Wells of @NomadicKayakFishing captured his entire Great White Shark encounter off the coast of New Zealand on his GoPro when fishing in his kayak. "Encountering one of the sea’s largest apex predators was both a terrifying and amazing experience," said Wells. "I’m glad to be back on land in one piece (all limbs and digits included)."
New Zealand’s waters are home to some of the largest great white sharks in the world, due to the abundance of food sources. These sharks are known to attack closely off the coastline, where Wells was fishing.
